Ruby Rivera

Advisor

Ruby Rivera is an experienced educator with over 18 years of experience in various roles, including secondary teacher, Instructional Technology Facilitator, Link Crew and PLUS program coordinator, Dean of Discipline, Teacher Induction Reflection Coach, District Family and Community Engagement Coordinator and Assistant Principal. She is currently serving as a High School Social Science Teacher at Palm Springs High School.
Ruby is also a dedicated community member, participating in several organizations as a Rotarian, PTG Board Member, PSUSD Alumni Association Member, Lift to Rise Leadership Team Member, and PSUSD LGBTQ Alliance Member. Ruby is a proud parent to four children and married to Eduardo Rivera, Assistant Principal at Nellie Coffman Middle School. Ruby is passionate about promoting educational equity, post-graduation opportunities for students, community engagement, and leadership.
